Our shared values, knowledge, talents, and experiences will bring a great synergy, and the quality products and services will enhance a growing number of client initiatives.

CTC is a veteran-owned small business with over 40 years of experience in providing training, publications, and personnel services solutions to meet specific customer needs. CTC has been recognized as one of INC Magazine’s “Fastest Growing Companies” on multiple occasions and the addition of DMT will add capacity and new competencies for expansion in the future. CTC’s corporate staff and instructor team have several hundred combined years of professional experience and have repeatedly demonstrated world-class service to government clients at all levels.

Jimmy Shafe, Founder and President of CTC, is excited about expanding opportunities for service.  “Dare Mighty Things is a great addition to our team. The capabilities they bring for developing eLearning tools and mentoring perfectly dovetail with CTC capabilities. And, their reputation with their clients is excellent. We are excited about this acquisition!”

As a subsidiary of CTC, DMT will continue to focus on technology-enabled training, technical assistance, benchmarking, and performance management. As a trusted partner of government agencies, nonprofits, and foundations for over 24 years, DMT delivers solutions for leaders, staff, and volunteers who work with the least empowered and most at-risk youth and families. Focus areas include resilience, mentoring, positive youth development, and reintegration in families, the workforce, and society. DMT will maintain and continue to grow from its current operating locations in New Hampshire and Virginia, and its same high-energy, innovative team of program managers, consultants, analysts, and instructional systems designers.

The DMT team has already seen the benefit of shared values and commitments to customer service. Already working as partners on a new initiative to provide quality training to AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps members and staff, the integration has been seamless.  Jim Seevers, DMT Chief Operating Officer, added, “experience, innovation, and customer service are hallmarks of both companies, so this acquisition by CTC will be a great springboard for future enhancements to our current and future clients, and the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of even more people.”
