Eastern New Mexico University recently engaged DMT to help devise a program that will improve student retention and achievement. The linchpin in the strategy is a faculty mentoring program designed to more fully engage Hispanic students at the University. DMT will design the program, develop the curriculum and deliver that training to University faculty in May. The University reached out to DMT after being awarded a Department of Education 5-year $2.5 million grant to increase access and ensure quality academic opportunities for southeastern New Mexico. DMT’s expertise in developing mentoring programs for high risk populations in educational settings is a good fit for the University’s requirements.
