DMT President meets with Secretary of Defense

David Van Patten, President and CEO of Portsmouth based Dare Mighty Things, Inc. was invited by New Hampshire Senator Kelly Ayotte, to participate in a defense company roundtable discussion held Monday, July 8 at Pease International Tradeport.

Ayotte’s featured guest was General Martin Dempsey, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. The event provided an opportunity for local business owners to spend time with Dempsey, the nation’s highest ranking military officer. Van Patten discussed the range of programs that DMT provides that benefit service members and their families. Senator Ayotte emphasized to the chairman the contributions of New Hampshire’s business sector and the breadth of support that New Hampshire’s citizens are making to our national security.
